Yumbassadors Sam, Shine, Nasser and Francis
Aside from meeting the Boy Scouts who volunteered for the Maaga ang Pasko Clean Up Drive I was also happy to meet some of the yumbassadors Shine, Nasser and Francis.
Shine Plata is a coffee painter, she is the ambassador for art. I am so inspired by her story when she said that she doesn't want to bother her parents to spend for her art materials so she thought of something inexpensive medium of art. And she started using coffee to create her paintings. She showed us some of her works and it was amazing, it was very interesting to imagine how she could use coffee to make beautiful paintings. More than being a great artist she has a good heart for the kids because she also teaches them to learn coffee painting for free. Check out her works here http://d1wata.wordpress.com/
Nasser Lubay is a visual artist/funny guy, he's fun to be with and I can say that he has an attitude that represents his kind of art. He is also an ambassador for art, and he is someone that we Filipinos can be proud of. He paints the positive side of life and he shares it to the kids.
